I’m so happy to have you here! I imagine you found me because you have something beautiful to celebrate. I’m Sam, Founder and Principal Planner of Samantha Starr Events (and yes, Starr is my actual middle name). I was born & raised in Milwaukee, but I affectionately call Chicago my second home. From a young age, I knew I had a passion for planning, design, and organization.

When I was three, I asked my mom for a lobster dinner, so I’ve had a thing for delicious food all my life! My passion & purpose are to design luxe events and dining experiences for every celebration, and my event styling team brings 10+ years of event coordination and planning experience to the MKE area and beyond. I love rolling up my sleeves with an eye on those details that make events fresh, custom & elevated.

My work is rooted in the principles & practices of bringing people together through my love of food, art, and culture. I look forward to discussing your celebration details over a craft cocktail or a great meal.
